Grills - Care and Maintenance
These grills operate a high temperature. The bottom of the chicken grills are a heavier gauge steel than the top, so that it withstands the temperature better. The combination of high heat and weather will cause your grill to prematurely rust.
To ensure your grill lasts as long as possible, follow these steps:
- Store your grill under cover or roof to protect it from rain.
- Empty the ash pan after use. The ash pans lift out or they can be scooped out with a shovel or a long handed pooper scooper tray.
- Clean the cooking surface with a wire brush to remove stuck on bits.
If your pit needs touched up, you can repaint them with a high heat paint.
Tires
The tires on the grills are available from your local hardware or farm store.
