About Us
At The Bird Nerd, we geek out about poultry. While our roots are in pastured poultry, we serve independent poultry processors and farmers of all types. Our core product groups include processing equipment, ready to lay pullets, and BBQ chicken grills.
Owner Mike Badger has been a dealer for Poultry Man since 2012 when he started under the Badger’s Millside Farm brand. We ship equipment all over the United States and Canada.
In 2015, Mike and Christie started to resell ready to lay pullets for Moyer’s Chicks. Today, we work with our own network of growers. We distribute started pullets to farms in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. (Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and beyond).
