Mobile Processing Unit (MPU)
The Bird Nerd has first-hand operating experience with an open MPU. A typical Poultry Man MPU features a 30″ rotary scalder, 27″ plucker, evisceration table, chill tank, twin and kill cones mounted on a 16′ landscaping trailer. Additional features include a rubber floor, leveling jacks, two 30lb. propane tanks, custom fabrication, and labor.
