Mobile Processing Unit (MPU)

The Bird Nerd has first-hand operating experience with an open MPU. A typical Poultry Man MPU features a 30″ rotary scalder, 27″ plucker, evisceration table, chill tank, twin and kill cones mounted on a 16′ landscaping trailer. Additional features may include a rubber floor, leveling jacks, two 30lb. propane tanks, custom fabrication, and labor.

Before you contact us for a quote. Keep these things in mind.

• We’re currently recommending aluminum trailers.
• We do not ship. Trailers are picked up from Hughesville, PA or Mifflinburg, PA.
• The Poultry Man Market Processing Setup is the base equipment package. We can also ship the equipment to you for a local build if you are not within driving distance.
• All-in, the price will be somewhere around $20,000 depending on trailer selection and equipment selection.
