The hand crank allows you to easily turn the birds in the scalder, resulting in the perfect scald you need across the whole bird, including the feet.
Suitable for meat birds, layers, turkeys, ducks and more.
The manual hand crank rotary scalder is available in 30″, 41, and 41″ sizes. Manufactured by Poultry Man of all stainless steel construction.
Does not include a motor or timer. You can not upgrade this unit with a motor later.

Features of the hand crank scalder:
- Rotary rack moves the birds through the hot water so you don’t have to
- Automatic temperature control to maintain an even water temp to ensure a proper scald
- Includes a propane regulator for hookup to 20 or 30 lb propane bottles
- Single propane burner
- 110v power required to operate the auquastat (temperature control)
Capacity by Scalder:
- 30 inch will scald 4 to 6 chickens or 1-2 turkeys
- 41 inch will scald 6 to 10 chicken or 4+ turkeys
- 47 inch will scald 10+ chickens or 5+ turkeys
